More and more lately it has come to my attention that so many of us require healing, especially emotional healing. Most of us have experienced some sort of trauma in the past that has contributed to a residual emotional blockage that manifests in deficiency of self esteem, relationship issues, and financial problems. This residual blockage can hinder our life’s progress. Everyone will face death eventually, but how many have actually lived? How many can say they’ve followed their bliss? I believe the health of our chakras have a lot to do with how we’ll succeed in this life.

If one can recall the last time something painfully shocking happened in their lives, one is most likely to have felt it in the solar plexus and heart chakra. The ensuing congested, painful feeling in these areas is the most difficult to be rid of. Sleep is fitful and peace of mind is disrupted.

The following is a brief history and backgound of Reiki!

Reiki is an Art of spiritual healing and self-realization discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui.

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is originally a hands-on Japanese healing energy technique that taps into the energy that is in all living things. Reiki means ‘Universal Life Force’ and is given to a client through a healing master. Reiki helps the client relax and restore good energy, as well as relieve headaches, stress, fatigue, anxiety or depression. Reiki works with a person’s natural body and energetic systems to gently return and remind the person’s body of its’ natural state of being healthy. The Reiki practitioner does not special “power” per se, but rather is a funnel for the “Universal Life Force” to enter the client for healing benefits.

Receiving a Reiki treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the body, emotions, mind and spirit of a person, creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation, peace, security, and well-being. Miraculous results have been reported by many Reiki clients.

Reiki is a simple, natural, and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement. It has been effective in helping various illnesses and always creates a beneficial effect. Reiki also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to minimize side effects and promote recovery.

ABOUT OUR CHAKRAS

The chakras can become easily become congested with dull, blocked energy which can contribute to us feeling sick or imbalanced in regards to everyday life. Relationships can be affected adversely; even our finances can suffer as a result! Reiki is a loving, gentle healing energy that is very effective for clearing blocked energy in one’s chakras.

The first chakra is called the root chakra. It is located at the base of the spine and it is linked to survival instincts and our ability to ground ourselves in the physical world. Blockage manifests as paranoia, defensiveness.

The second chakra is called the sacral chakra. It is located just beneath the navel and related to our sexual and reproductive capacity. Blockage manifests as emotional problems or sexual guilt.

The third chakra is located behind the solar plexus which gives us a sense of our personal power in the world. Blockage manifests as anger or a sense of victimization.

The fourth chakra is the heart chakra which gives us the ability to express love. Blockage can manifest as immune system or heart problems, a lack of compassion, or a feeling of being unloved.

The fifth chakra is located in the throat and directly linked to creativity and communication. Blockage manifests as problems like laryngitis or sore throats, creative blocks or general problems communicating with others.

The sixth chakra is the third eye which is located between the eyebrows. This chakra is the seat of intuition and awareness. Blockage manifests as sinus or eye problems.

The seventh chakra is the crown chakra and is located at the top of the head. This is related to one’s personal spiritual connection to the universe. Blockage manifests as psychological problems.
